You are already a cyborg.  With your phone you have access to any fact, calculation, perfect memory.

It's just that the data rate, the communication rate, between you and your phone is very slow.

Once the data rate problem is solved people will choose whether to keep their biological self or not

It will be possible to snapshot your brain into a computer and upload it into another body.
