When Einstein said let x be a 4 dimensional manifold with a 3:1 metric called spacetime

was he describing actual space time or a model of spacetime?

Was he painting a picture of space time or was he describing what is there at base level?

This is what I mean by the map may be the territory.

No one who went to watch a sport's game would talk about the many games hypothesis.

They understand that every spectator has a different view of the same game

and that sometimes the people in the stands can influence the game.

My augmentation of Einstein's theory is, what if the fields (matter and energy) are dancing across

all possible rulers and all possible protractors.

And you're sampling the rulers and protractors across one particular choice (the hairband)

We're currently pretending our particular perception of the observerse is all we know / the universe

Einstein told us, take 4 degrees of freedom, put 4 rules and 6 protractors on top of them

call that space time. Spacetime generates curvature and curvature is measured

by the stuff floating round in the system. You set the stuff (matter and energy) equal

to the curvature that comes out of the rulers and protractors.

What you call a world in many worlds is actually a particular way of placing the hairband.

There are infinite ways of placing the hairband around the tube.

You can analogize the hairband to the stands and the tube to the pitch in game.

Together they are the observerse.

The hairband, like the fertilized egg, has enough data to build the tube.

which is tell me about the space of all rulers I could have at every point around the hairband.

Now you have physics happening on the tube, but can only perceive what is along the hairband.

We are fooled to think physics happens on the hairband (our 4 dimensions), not the 14d tube.

Importing information from the tube (rulers) is a new use of the spacetime metric.

The towel core is the space of all rulers that could go at any point.

Every point on the hairband goes through one line / ruler in the length wise direction of the tube.

Now imagine you could have physics happening not on the line but on the tube, like temperature.

and the only thing you could record was the temperature at the point at which the band was around.

With the theory of everything I was trying to find something primitive that unpacks into our world.

Is there anything with no evident structure whose consequence is us, with tons of evident structure?

The infinitely thin hairband generates the tube that falls into two pieces.

The hairband is the analog of space time when it goes round the towel core once.

Einstein told us that there were four dimensions, four degrees of freedom.

Two rulers, one for space, one for time and six angles.

Einstein threw away all but the spacetime metric that he believed in.

He chose only one set of rulers and protractors to use for the stuff in the universe.

The three sections would give you the three possible signatures of the diablo object.

Two of space, none of time; one of space, one of time; two of space, none of time.

Those are the three possible ways of dividing up two dimensions into space and time.

So now you have created two dimensions, one space dimension and one time dimension.

You would also have an angle between space and time so three pieces of extra data.

You add a middle joining section so it now looks like a juggler's diablo.

Imagine your proto spacetime was like an infinitely thin hairband.

Imagine for every point along that hairband you had all possible rulers / things of unit length,

each ruler can be marked with positive and negative numbers. The circle turns into two pipes / tubes

Each representing the rulers of the same sign.

Einstein effectively came up with an intensity scale (rulers) for the tastes on your tongue

And a way (protractors) to measure the similarity or differences (angles) between these tastes,

Before Einstein there was spacetime but we didn't have the ways of properly measuring it.

Einstein put the metrics (rules and protractors) on proto-spacetime.
